She began her private practice, Eldredge EyeCare in August of 2000. With a passion for helping others, she has a commitment to caring for her patients as she would want her own family to be cared for, therefore every patient is treated like family, and many families have continued to trust in her care for many years.

Dr. Bonnie loves learning and sharing new treatments, preventive measures, and new technology with her patient. She is a whole-food, plant-based eye doctor who is very passionate about helping her patients heal from the inside out. It is so rewarding to see people change their lifestyles, decrease the need for medications and begin living a vibrant life. She is on top of the ocular effects of systemic medications so she takes every measure to ensure the safety of their vision.

Having been trained in Glaucoma early on, Dr. Bonnie is licensed to diagnose and treat glaucoma to slow down the progression of this silently blinding disease. She is also very well trained in the diagnosis and treatment of dry eye disease and all of its associated systemic diseases including autoimmune disorders and dry eye associated with systemic medications.

Throughout the years and even now she has diagnosed many life-threatening and vision-threatening diseases and has saved some lives due to her relentless passion for not giving up until she has the answer. She works closely with specialists in the fields of neurology, glaucoma, rheumatology, primary care, internal medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine. Unafraid to order MRIs and Blood work, review patients' current blood work, and get patients to the right doctors for the care that they need to help them while staying in contact with the patients and doctors in the process.

Hobbies include salsa dancing, listening to experts on virology, nutrition, dry eye, and all things eye related to helping her patients and walking. Also cooking whole food plant-based dishes. Yes, she can talk the time away and also listen. She asks the right questions which are helpful in finding things that help that may not have been considered relating to patients’ concerns about their vision and their health.

So much more can be said as her journey has been interesting and fulfilling and yes, ongoing.

Our practice is endorsed by the International Academy of Safe Practice Standards. We are proud of that as we have been able to keep our patients safe and cared for from the beginning of the Pandemic as well as diagnose COVID and get the care people to need immediately.
